by Philip Ridley
November 2025
Whether it was written in the time of Caesar or written last week at a Little Caesars, Hidden Gems: Play Reading Series is a play reading series dedicated to revisiting rarely produced plays as well as giving voice to new works for the first time.
When a young couple is offered an ideal house by a mysterious stranger, it prompts the question: How far would any of us go to get our dream home? A fast-paced, pitch-black comedy, Radiant Vermin is a provocative satire about the housing market, homelessness, and inequality.

Hidden Gems: Play Reading Series
The War of the Worlds
by Howard E. Koch
October 2025
Whether it was written in the time of Caesar or written last week at a Little Caesars, Hidden Gems: Play Reading Series is a play reading series dedicated to revisiting rarely produced plays as well as giving voice to new works for the first time.
The War of the Worlds is a realistic radio dramatization of a Martian invasion of Earth that was staged by Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre on the Air series and premiered on CBS Radio on October 30, 1938. Based on the novel by H.G. Wells and adapted for the radio by Howard Koch, the show was presented as a series of authentic newscasts breaking into regularly scheduled programming to alert the people of Earth of the dire circumstances. This led to national mass hysteria among listeners who believed it to be real.

The Hill: Stories from Spoon River
June 2025
The Hill: Stories from Spoon River was remounted at the historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery as a co-production with Lovely Calamity Productions in June, 2025. The script was adapted from poet Edgar Lee Masters' 1915 classic, Spoon River Anthology, by Crissy Noelle. The show follows the residents of the fictional town of Spoon River, who have returned from the dead to perform their epitaphs. Audience members joined the enigmatic master-of-ceremonies known as Fiddler Jones on a lantern lit journey through the necropolis, wandering from grave to grave, and learning the secrets these forlorn ghosts almost took to their graves.
Game On!
January 2025
Game On! is a high energy, low stakes evening of theater games, camp games, and kids games
for adults. Dedicated to tapping into that child-like sense of joy and spontaneity too often lost to
adulthood, the workshop runs the gamut from exhilarating games to get the blood flowing; to
games of concentration, enhancing focus and problem-solving; to ridiculous games played with
reckless abandon. Above all else, this workshop is about fun!
